The Celiac baker, creator, and nostalgia-chaser behind Playhouse Treats! A little gluten-free bakery with a big imagination and a whole lot of love.
Playhouse started as my way of bringing joy back into a world that felt pretty heavy. Living with celiac disease for over 20 years myself, I know exactly how defeating it can be to miss out on the treats everyone else gets to enjoy. So I made it my mission to build a place where gluten-free isn’t a compromise, it’s a celebration.

My Story
Playhouse was born during a moment when I needed joy more than anything. Baking became my escape, my therapy, and eventually my mission: to create gluten-free treats so delicious you feel included, nostalgic, and taken care of with every bite.
Every cookie, Dunkie, blondie, tart, and treat that leaves my kitchen is crafted with one promise: If it doesn’t taste magical, melt-in-your-mouth amazing, and unlock a core memory… it’s not Playhouse.
My recipes are inspired by childhood favourites, 90s lunchbox legends, cozy weekends, county fairs, and all the little moments that made growing up sweet. Now I get to reimagine those classics, gluten-free, so nobody has to sit on the sidelines of dessert again.
From Calgary to Montreal and back again, every order fills my world with community, connection, and the kind of happiness that sticks with you. Playhouse Treats is more than baked goods, it’s a feeling. A warm hug to your inner child. A seat at the Texture Club table. A reminder that joy is meant to be shared.
